All “Boxes of Fun” will be shipped at the same time prior to Christmas. Any orders placed now to December 17th will arrive in time for Christmas.

CHRISTINE’S KITCHENS STORY

Christine’s Kitchens, a shared incubator kitchen was founded in 2014 by Christine Ameigh, then owner of Slide Food Cart & Catering. Her original incubator kitchen was in Sun Prairie, which got to be a long drive pulling the food cart, oftentimes twice a day. She found an old restaurant space and had about five Madison food carts and someone making specialty pickles and jams working there at the time. A couple years later she expanded the food prep area to include space for more small businesses, now there are about 12 businesses working out of the 3000 square foot space. 

Fast forward to 2020 as a way to support her potato chips business and the other businesses in the kitchen, Christine and her staff started a weekly delivery service of local goods. At the peak with over 70 small businesses on the website delivering to an average of 150 homes every week. 

Christine is also a member of Something Special from Wisconsin, which always hosted a holiday trade show. Since a trade show wasn’t possible in 2020 she partnered with SSfW and Project Kinect to create “Boxes of Fun”. These are curated gift boxes with products from vendors from around the state of Wisconsin that you can ship anywhere in the US.

As the pandemic wanes, it was time to re-think weekly delivery and re-invent once again. This re-structure brings you to the current site today. We hope you can find something wonderful for yourself or for a gift. We offer pick up of perishable products and shipping nationwide on anything else!
